TFT screen on both monitor is 15.4" large.
More RAM means less swapping when you run many programs at once and therefore Asus Z5303JC with 1GB RAM is better choise than Acer TravelMate 4072NWLMi with 0.5GB.
We must say that Acer TravelMate 4072NWLMi is less in weight with 2.75kg, comparing to 2.95kg which other laptop has.
Video card inside TravelMate 4072NWLMi is Intel 915GM and other laptop has Nvidia Go 7300 inside.
Graphic cards on Asus Z5303JC have its own memory (256MB) and therefore mainboard's memory controller works faster.
Asus Z5303JC had more hard drive space (100 GB) - definetly something which users who plan to hold movies on it will like.
Disadvantage of Asus Z5303JC is lack of bluetooth connection which you might need for some mobile devices and cameras.
If you have infrared enabled devices if you buy Acer TravelMate 4072NWLMi you won't be enabled to communicate with them.
Acer TravelMate 4072NWLMi doesn't support firewire connections.
No built-in PCMCIA so you cannot attach some TV cards .
Only model Z5303JC have cardreader inside.
These laptops don't have DVI output to allow you to see screen on bigger modern monitors.
Both laptops are equipped with 54Mbit/s internal wireless.
Existance of web camera in Asus Z5303JC makes this model excellent for using in Internet telephony. Other notebook hasn't one.
Operating system on TravelMate 4072NWLMi is Linux and on Z5303JC is XP Home.
