Processor in Asus Z5303JC is Core 2 Duo T5600 1.83GHz, and in laptop Microstar 262B is Core Duo T2300 1.6GHz.
We prefere more 15.4" monitor on Asus Z5303JC than 12.1" monitor on Microstar 262B.
To runs many programs at once we've found Asus Z5303JC better with its 1GB of RAM than Microstar 262B with 0.5GB. More memory means less swapping.
Microstar 262B supports more maximum amount of RAM (2) than Asus Z5303JC (-1GB).
Both Asus Z5303JC and Microstar 262B on our test use same type of RAM memory - DDR2.
Graphic is built around Nvidia Go 7300 on Z5303JC, but graphic on other is Intel 945GM.
Asus Z5303JC had more storage for multimedia files on hard drive.
If you have some bluetooth devices if you buy Asus Z5303JC you will need external bluetooth dongle which is not excellent idea.
Microstar 262B have lack of infrared device.
Firewire is embedded in both models allows them to communicate with other IEEE 1394 devices like some camcorders.
Cardreaders are inside both of these laptops.
Disadvantage of both is lack of DVI output for connection to some modern TFT monitors.
Web camera is built in Asus Z5303JC (the another notebook hasn't any) and that is useful for video conferencing.
Operating system on both is XP Home.
