Processor on our Asus Z 9266 VA we've tested was Pentium M760 2.0GHz, and on Samsung M700-1860 was Pentium M750 1.86GHz.
We think that M700-1860 has better screen with its 19" inch size than Z 9266 VA with its 15.4" large screen.
Samsung M700-1860 notebook has better maximum screen resolution - 1680x1050, in contrast to 1280x800 at Asus Z 9266 VA.
Inside both notebooks were 1GB of memory.
Both notebooks use same RAM memory (DDR2).
No free RAM slots on both notebook models.
On both Z 9266 VA and M700-1860 models is declared that accumulator allows 4.5 hours of work without power supply.
Video card in use in Asus Z 9266 VA is ATI Mobility Radeon X700 and in Samsung M700-1860 is Nvidia Go 6600.
Each laptop have 128MB of video memory built on its video card.
Hard disk on had 80GB of maximum capacity.
We do not have preference on their hard disk speed - 5400 rpm have both.
We dislike the fact that bluetooth isn't available on these models.
Infrared is missing on Asus Z 9266 VA.
Asus Z 9266 VA doesn't support firewire connections.
1Gbit/s internet is supportable only by Samsung M700-1860.
Samsung M700-1860 has cardreader which reads 1 different card types.
They don't have DVI for new monitors.
Each laptop has 54Mbit/s wireless
Internet telephony is better with web camera but any of these notebooks hasn't one inside.
XP Home is operating system on both.
There are additional software only on Samsung M700-1860 and it is MGI Video Wave, Nero Norton Antivirus (90Tage) Photo Suite,Power DVD 3.0.
