In Asus Z5303JC we've found Core 2 Duo T5600 1.83GHz cpu and in Samsung M700-1860 we have a pleasure to find Pentium M750 1.86GHz processor.
We prefere more 19" monitor on Samsung M700-1860 than 15.4" monitor on Asus Z5303JC.
Maximum screen resulution on Samsung M700-1860 is 1680x1050, which might prefer graphic experts rather than 1280x768 on Asus Z5303JC.
We've got both notebooks with 1GB of RAM memory.
With maximum 2GB of RAM it can support Samsung M700-1860 can feel a bit more proud than Asus Z5303JC.
Both laptops use same RAM memory (DDR2).
Video card in use in Asus Z5303JC is Nvidia Go 7300 and in Samsung M700-1860 is Nvidia Go 6600.
These laptops have dedicated RAM (256MB on Asus Z5303JC, 128MB on Samsung M700-1860) on video cards.
Asus Z5303JC had more storage for multimedia files on its hard disk.
If you have bluetooth devices if you buy Asus Z5303JC you will need external bluetooth which is not excellent idea.
Infrared is avaiable in both.
These laptops can communicate using firewire with camcorders and some other video devices.
PCMCIA is available only on Samsung M700-1860 and it is needed by some TV cards, external hard drives and external modems.
Both laptops have built-in modem which you need somewhere where broadband internet isn't available.

It is bad that these laptops cannot be connected to some new TFT monitors since they don't have DVI.
Existance of web camera in Asus Z5303JC makes this notebook excellent for using in Internet telephony. Other notebook hasn't one.
XP Home is operating system on both.
Only Samsung M700-1860 has some additional software : MGI Video Wave, Nero Norton Antivirus (90Tage) Photo Suite,Power DVD 3.0.
