We prefere more 15.4" monitor on LG S1-MDGBG than 15" monitor on BenQ R23.G13.
If you like higher screen resolutions than you might decide that LG S1-MDGBG is better with its 1280x800 than BenQ R23.G13 with 1024x768.
Although memory could easily be expanded, 1GB on S1-MDGBG versus 0.5GB on R23.G13 might be significant difference.
Both laptops have weight 2.8kg.
LG S1-MDGBG had more capacity of hard disk (100GB, comparing to 60GB).
Mobile phones and cameras tends to use bluetooth for multimedia data and they can easily connect only with LG S1-MDGBG using built in bluetooth connection.
Infrared, which is useful for communication with some mobile phones is available only on BenQ R23.G13.
Only BenQ R23.G13 have firewire needed for some camcorders.
Only LG S1-MDGBG has PCMCIA.
