In BenQ S53W.G01 we've found Pentium M750 1.86GHz cpu and in LG S1-MDGBG we have a pleasure to find Core Duo T2500 2.0GHz central processor unit.
We prefere 15.4 inch wide screen size at model S1-MDGBG than 13 built at model S53W.G01.
For customers whose need more RAM we've found LG S1-MDGBG with its 1GB better than 0.5 GB on BenQ S53W.G01.
-1GB is maximum supportable RAM memory on both laptops
The RAM memory in use on both laptops is DDR2.
Weight of BenQ S53W.G01 is only 2.15kg, but LG S1-MDGBG is heavier with 2.8kg.
LG S1-MDGBG had more capacity of hard disk (100GB, comparing to 80GB).
Bluetooth connection, useful for sharing multimedia data with cameras and mobile phones, is available only on LG S1-MDGBG.
Infrared isn't built in LG S1-MDGBG, which is slightly disadvantage.
There are firewire built-in only on BenQ S53W.G01.
Only LG S1-MDGBG has PCMCIA.
Both laptops have built-in modem which you need somewhere where broadband internet isn't available.
These laptops have cardreaders inside them.
