Both models came with Core Duo T2300 1.6GHz central processor processor.
We like more BenQ R55.G24 15.4" inch screen than Microstar 262B's 12.1" size.
Maximum screen resolution (1280x800) is same on both laptops.
More RAM means less swapping when you run many programs at once and therefore BenQ R55.G24 with 1GB RAM is better choise than Microstar 262B with 0.5GB.
262B allows maximum 2GB RAM - higher than R55.G24 (-1GB RAM).
Video card inside R55.G24 is Nvidia Go 7400 and other laptop has Intel 945GM inside.
BenQ R55.G24 had more storage for files on its hard drive.
Bluetooth, which isn't available on both of these notebooks, unable these notebooks to communicate with some other small devices - laptops with bluetooth, some mobile phones and some digital cameras.
We regret the lack of infrared on these laptops.
Both models have firewire built-in needed by some video devices.
Only BenQ R55.G24 has PCMCIA.
Cardreader in both laptops can read 4 different card types.
They don't have DVI for new monitors.
The lack of webcamera in both models makes them bad in video conferencing.
Both came with XP Home .
