Processor on our BenQ R23.G13 we've tested was Turion64 1.8GHz, and on Sony Vaio VGN-FE28B was Centrino Duo T2300 1.66Ghz.
We like more Sony Vaio VGN-FE28B 15.4" inch screen than BenQ R23.G13's 15" size.
Sony Vaio VGN-FE28B laptop have finer maximum screen resolution(1280x800) than other laptop(1024x768).
For customers whose need more RAM we've found Sony Vaio VGN-FE28B with its 1GB better than 0.5 GB on BenQ R23.G13.
Both of these models allows 3 running without power supply (on internall accumulator).
R23.G13 weigths less with its 2.8kg than the another one.
Sony Vaio VGN-FE28B had more hard disk space (100 GB) - definetly something which users who hold movies on it will certainly like.
Bluetooth, which is low power air connection, isn't available on both laptops, and that might be big disadvantage.
Infrared isn't available on both models and therefore they cannot communicate with some small devices.
Firewire, which isn't available on both of these models, unable laptops to use some camcorders.
PCMCIA on BenQ R23.G13 unable them to connect to some TV cards .
Only Sony Vaio VGN-FE28B have cardreader inside.
They don't have DVI for new TFT monitors.
There are no web camera in both laptops which is bad for video conferencing .
Operating system on BenQ R23.G13 is XP Home and on Sony Vaio VGN-FE28B is XP Media Center.
There are additional software only on Sony Vaio VGN-FE28B and it is Adobe Acrobat Elements 7.0.
