Central processor unit on our BenQ R23.G13 we've tested was Turion64 1.8GHz, and on BenQ R55.G24 was Core Duo T2300 1.6GHz.
We prefere more 15.4" monitor on BenQ R55.G24 than 15" monitor on BenQ R23.G13.
BenQ R55.G24 notebook has better maximum screen resolution - 1280x800, in contrast to 1024x768 at BenQ R23.G13.
Although memory could easily be expanded, 1GB on R55.G24 versus 0.5GB on R23.G13 might be significant difference.
Weight is same (2.8kg) on both laptops in this ratings here.
BenQ R55.G24 had more storage for files on hard drive.
We dislike the fact that bluetooth isn't available on these models.
Keep in mind that these models don't have infrared device built-in.
Firewire (IEEE 1394) isn't built in BenQ R23.G13.
There are no PCMCIA on BenQ R23.G13.
Both laptops have built-in modem which you need somewhere where broadband internet isn't available.
Cardreader is inside only BenQ R55.G24.
They don't have DVI for new LCD monitors.
Both laptops have 4 USB ports each.
The lack of webcamera in both models makes them bad in video conferencing.
Both of these laptops came with XP Home .
