CPU on our Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1655G we've tested was Turion64 ML32, and on Samsung R40-T500 Cinoso was Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66Ghz.
Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1655G and Samsung R40-T500 Cinoso have same 15.4" screen size.
RAM memory was on both laptops 1GB.
Both Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1655G and Samsung R40-T500 Cinoso laptops have same amount of maximum supportable RAM memory - 2GB.
Graphic is built around ATI Xpress 200M on Amilo A1655G, but graphic on other is built using ATI Mobility 200M.
More storage for multimedia (mpeg, avi) were available at Samsung R40-T500 Cinoso (more conforable space on hard drive).
We dislike the fact that bluetooth isn't available on these models.
Unfortunatly, any of these doesn't have infrared communication embedded which might be significant disadvantage.
There are firewire built-in only on Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1655G.
Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1655G doesn't have PCMCIA.
On fast networks (1Gbit/s) these notebooks will work only 100Mbit/s because their internal network card cannot achieve more.
These notebooks have cardreaders inside them.
They don't have DVI for new TFT monitors.
These laptops aren't really suitable for video conferencing since they haven't web camera embedded.
XP Home is operating system .
There are additional software only on Samsung R40-T500 Cinoso and it is Power DVD XP.
