In Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1655G we've found Turion64 ML32 cpu and in Toshiba Satellite P105-S9722 we have a pleasure to find Core 2 Duo T7200 2.0GHz processor.
We've found 17" monitor size on Satellite P105-S9722 quite better than 15.4" at Amilo A1655G.
More RAM on Toshiba Satellite P105-S9722 means less swapping on hard drive. Satellite P105-S9722 had 2GB. Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1655G had only 1GB of RAM which might not suit users who wants to run many programs at once.
Both laptops use same RAM memory (DDR2).
Graphic card in use in Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1655G is ATI Xpress 200M and in laptop Toshiba Satellite P105-S9722 is Nvidia Geforce Go 7900 GS.
Toshiba Satellite P105-S9722 had more hard disk space (200 GB) - definetly something which users who think to hold movies on it will like.
We dislike the fact that bluetooth isn't available on these models.
Unfortunatly, any of these doesn't have infrared communication embedded which might be significant disadvantage.
These models have firewire (IEEE 1394) communication device embedded.
Only Toshiba Satellite P105-S9722 has PCMCIA.
Very fast internet connection (1Gbit/s) supports only Toshiba Satellite P105-S9722.
Only Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1655G have cardreader inside.
Only Toshiba Satellite P105-S9722 has DVI output which allows you to connect it to monitors.
Only Satellite P105-S9722 has TV output.
Both notebooks are equipped with 54Mbit/s wireless.
Quite disadvantage of both models is lack of web camera which needs Internet telephony.
Operating system on Amilo A1655G is XP Home and on Satellite P105-S9722 is XP Pro.
Only Toshiba Satellite P105-S9722 has special software pack : Microsoft Office OneNote 2003, Works 8.5.
