We like that graphic card on Asus Z 9266 VA have its own video memory (128MB) and therefore its faster since it doesn't use main memory and mainboard controller is less loaded.
Gateway MP8708 laptop is more suitable with its 160GB hard disk for storing large amounts of media information like music .
For some small devices like mobile phones and cameras, you might need bluetooth which is internaly built only in Asus Z 9266 VA.
Infrared connection has only Asus Z 9266 VA.
There are no firewire built-in on Asus Z 9266 VA.
Internal modem is available in both models and you will need it at some rare location without proper Internet connection.
