Gateway MX6448 could be described as a bit less heavier with 2.86kg, comparing to 2.95kg .
Graphic card inside MX6448 is ATI XPRESS 1150 and other laptop uses Nvidia Go 7300.
Graphic card is better on Asus Z5303JC with embedded 256MB of memory.
More storage for multimedia were available at Gateway MX6448 (more conforable space on hard drive).
Only Asus Z5303JC is able to communicate with some other devices using infrared connection.
Firewire is embedded in both models allows them to communicate with IEEE 1394 devices like some camcorders.
PCMCIA is available only on Gateway MX6448 and it is needed by some TV cards, external hard drives and external modems.
Both notebooks have cardreader. At Asus Z5303JC it reads 5 different card types and cardreader in Gateway MX6448 supports 4 different card types.
They don't have DVI for new monitors.
Both laptops are equipped with stardard 54Mbit/s internal wireless.
