We like more Gateway MX6931 15.4" inch screen than BenQ R23.G13's 15" size.
Gateway MX6931 model we've tested had more RAM (2GB) than BenQ R23.G13 (0.5GB).
MX6931 allows maximum 2GB RAM - higher than R23.G13 (-1GB RAM).
BenQ R23.G13 has less weight (2.8kg), comparing to 2.86kg on another laptop here.
More storage for multimedia were available at Gateway MX6931 (more conforable space on hard drive).
Bluetooth dongle available only at BenQ R23.G13 is usefull if one have bluetooth devices like cameras, phones, etc.
Infrared is built-in only in BenQ R23.G13.
Only Gateway MX6931 have firewire.
Only Gateway MX6931 has PCMCIA.
Small advantage of Gateway MX6931 is built-in cardreader which reads 4 card types.
It is bad that these laptops cannot be connected to some new monitors since they don't have DVI.
Only MX6931 has TV input.
Each has 4 USB ports.
These laptops aren't very good for Internet telephony since they haven't web camera.
Operating system on MX6931 is XP Media Center and on R23.G13 is XP Home.
There are additional software only on Gateway MX6931 and it is Works 8.5, Money 2006.
