Both models have the same 15.4" screen size.
If you want to run many programs at once 2GB of RAM on this Gateway MX6453 is better than Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1655G with 1GB.
Graphic card inside MX6453 is ATI XPRESS 1150 and other laptop uses ATI Xpress 200M.
More hard disk space were at Gateway MX6453 (160GB is contast to 80GB).
Mobile phones and cameras tends to use bluetooth for multimedia data and they can connect only with Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1655G using built in bluetooth connection.
Infrared, which is needed for communication with some mobile phones is available only on Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1655G.
Firewire useful for some video equipment communication is built-in both laptops.
