Laptop Gateway MX6931 uses Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66Ghz central processor unit, and notebook Gateway MX6931 uses Turion64 ML32 central processor unit.
Both models have the same 15.4" screen size.
Gateway MX6931 model we've tested had more RAM (2GB) than Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1655G (1GB).
Video card inside MX6931 is Intel 950 and other laptop has ATI Xpress 200M inside.
Gateway MX6931 laptop is more suitable with its 160GB hard drive for storing large amounts of media files like music and movies.
There are no bluetooth on Gateway MX6931 and that might be disadvantage.
Infrared connection has only Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1655G.
These laptops can communicate using firewire with camcorders and some other video devices.
PCMCIA on Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1655G unable them to connect to some TV cards .
Note that no one can take advantage of very fast internet connections (1Gbit/s).
