Gateway MX6455 came to us with Turion64 2.0GHz main central processor inside and LG S1-MDGBG came to us with Core Duo T2500 2.0GHz processor .
Screen size on both models(Gateway MX6455 and LG S1-MDGBG) is 15.4".
Both Gateway MX6455 and LG S1-MDGBG on our test had same amount of RAM memory - 1GB.
LG S1-MDGBG has less weight (2.8kg), comparing to 2.9kg on another laptop here.
Graphic is built around ATI X300 on MX6455, but graphic on other laptop is ATI Radeon X1600.
Graphic card is better on LG S1-MDGBG with embedded 256MB of memory.
Gateway MX6455 had more storage for multimedia files (like mp3, avi) on its hard disk.
Disadvantage of Gateway MX6455 is lack of bluetooth which you might need for some mobile phones and cameras.
Firewire is available only on Gateway MX6455.
Both laptops have PCMCIA which allows to connect some TV cards .
Modem is built in both laptops.
These laptops have cardreaders inside them.
It is bad that these notebooks cannot be connected to some new LCD monitors since they don't have DVI.
Advantage of LG S1-MDGBG is existance of TV output.
Internet telephony is better with web camera but any of these laptops hasn't one .
Operating system is XP Media Center on Gateway MX6455 and XP Pro on LG S1-MDGBG.
There are additional software only on Gateway MX6455 and it is Works 8.5, Money 2006.
