The same 15.4" screen size is on both Gateway MX6448 and Toshiba Satellite A105-S4384.
RAM memory was on both laptops 1GB.
Satellite A105-S4384 allows maximum 4GB RAM - higher than MX6448 (2GB RAM).
Both Gateway MX6448 and Toshiba Satellite A105-S4384 on our test use same type of RAM memory - DDR2.
Toshiba Satellite A105-S4384 is a bit less heavier with its 2.72kg, comparing to 2.86kg.
Graphic card in use in Gateway MX6448 is ATI XPRESS 1150 and in Toshiba Satellite A105-S4384 is Intel 950.
Up to 128MB of memory is substracted from mainboard for video card .
Toshiba Satellite A105-S4384 had more capacity of hard disk (160GB, comparing to 120GB).
We do not have preference on their hard drive speed - 4200 rpm have both.
