Gateway MX6453 came to us with Turion X2 Dual 1.6GHz main central processor inside and Gateway MP6954 came to us with Core Duo T2050 1.6GHz processor inside.
Gateway MX6453 and Gateway MP6954 have same 15.4" screen size.
In both notebooks we've found 2GB of RAM.
Gateway MX6453 could be described as a bit less heavier with its 2.86kg, comparing to 2.95kg other laptop has.
Video card in use in Gateway MX6453 is ATI XPRESS 1150 and in Gateway MP6954 is Intel 950.
Video cards on both laptops uses 128MB of shared RAM from mainboard.
More hard drive space were at Gateway MX6453 (160GB is contast to 120GB).
Gateway MP6954 should load programs for hard disk faster with its 5400rpm fast disk.
Infrared isn't built in Gateway MX6453, which is slightly disadvantage.
