Model Gateway MX6931 uses Intel 945GM chipset and model Gateway MX6931 uses ATI XPRESS 200M.
On both models screen size is 15.4".
Gateway MX6931 came with more RAM memory - 2GB comparing to 1GB on Gateway MX6455.
Gateway MX6931 has less weight (2.86kg), comparing to 2.9kg on another laptop here.
Graphic card inside MX6931 is Intel 950 and other laptop uses ATI X300.
These notebooks use part of main RAM memory for graphic cards.
More storage for multimedia (mpeg, avi) were available at Gateway MX6931 (more space on hard disk).
Gateway MX6931 laptop have faster hard disk rotating on 5400rpm.
Both laptops have firewire which some camcorders use.
Unfortunatly, notebooks don't support fast network of 1Gbit/s.
Both laptops have cardreader which supports 4 different card types.
It is bad that these laptops cannot be connected to some new TFT monitors since they don't have DVI.
Only MX6931 has TV input.
The number of USB ports is 4 on both.
These laptops aren't really good for Internet telephony because they haven't web camera.
