CPU on our HP dv8301nr we've tested was Turion64 1.8GHz, and on Acer TravelMate 4072NWLMi was Pentium M740 1.73GHz.
We've found 17" monitor size on dv8301nr quite better than 15.4" at TravelMate 4072NWLMi.
Inside both HP dv8301nr and Acer TravelMate 4072NWLMi we've found 0.5GB of memory.
Travellers should note that Acer TravelMate 4072NWLMi is only 2.75kg in weight, but HP dv8301nr is much heavier with 3.63kg.
Video card in use in HP dv8301nr is ATI Mobility 200M and in Acer TravelMate 4072NWLMi is Intel 915GM.
HP dv8301nr seems to be better for gamers with 128MB of dedicated video memory.
