Central processor unit on our LG S1-MDGBG we've tested was Core Duo T2500 2.0GHz, and on Microstar 262B was Core Duo T2300 1.6GHz.
We prefere 15.4 inch wide screen size at model S1-MDGBG than 12.1 built at model 262B.
On both S1-MDGBG and 262B there is maximum screen resolution of 1280x800.
If you think you will need more memory then you'll known than 1GB on LG S1-MDGBG is better than 0.5GB on Microstar 262B.
With maximum 2GB of RAM it can support Microstar 262B can feel a bit more proud than LG S1-MDGBG.
Graphic card in LG S1-MDGBG is ATI Radeon X1600 and in laptop Microstar 262B is Intel 945GM.
LG S1-MDGBG had more hard disk space (100 GB) - definetly something which users who have habbit hold movies on it will like.
If you have bluetooth devices if you buy Microstar 262B you will need external bluetooth which is not excellent idea.
Infrared, which is useful for communication with some mobile phones is available only on Microstar 262B.
LG S1-MDGBG doesn't support firewire connections.
There are no PCMCIA on Microstar 262B.
Both notebooks have cardreader. At LG S1-MDGBG it reads 5 different card types and cardreader in Microstar 262B supports 4 different card types.
They don't have DVI for new monitors.
Advantage of LG S1-MDGBG is existance of TV output.
Each laptop has 54Mbit/s wireless
These laptops aren't really suitable for video conferencing since they haven't web camera inside.
S1-MDGBG drives XP Pro and 262B drives XP Home operating system.
