Central processor unit on our Microstar 262B we've tested was Core Duo T2300 1.6GHz, and on Samsung M700-1860 was Pentium M750 1.86GHz.
M700-1860 monitor screen with its 19 inch we like more than 12.1 inch screen at 262B.
Samsung M700-1860 laptop has better maximum screen resolution - 1680x1050, in contrast to 1280x800 at Microstar 262B.
If you think you will need more memory then you'll known than 1GB on Samsung M700-1860 is better than 0.5GB on Microstar 262B.
Both Microstar 262B and Samsung M700-1860 on our test had same amount of maximum RAM memory they can support - 2GB.
Number of free RAM slots is higher on 262B - 1.
Graphic is built around Intel 945GM on 262B, but graphic on other laptop is Nvidia Go 6600.
Samsung M700-1860 had more capacity of hard disk (80GB, comparing to 60GB).
Unfortunatly, owners of these notebooks might have problems for sharing data with their digital cameras and mobile phones due to lack of internal bluetooth device.
Infrared, which is needed for communication with some mobile phones is available only on Samsung M700-1860.
Microstar 262B doesn't have PCMCIA.
Note that only Samsung M700-1860 is able to take advantage of fast internet connections (1Gbit/s).
Both notebooks have cardreaders.
These notebooks don't have DVI output to allow you to see screen on bigger modern monitors.
Each has 3 USB ports.
These laptops aren't very suitable for video conferencing since they haven't web camera inside.
XP Home is operating system on both.
There are additional software only on Samsung M700-1860 and it is MGI Video Wave, Nero Norton Antivirus (90Tage) Photo Suite,Power DVD 3.0.
