In Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 we've found Pentium M778 Ultra Low Voltage cpu and in Toshiba Satellite M60-182 we have a pleasure to find Pentium M760 2.0GHz CPU.
We think that Satellite M60-182 has better screen with its 17" inch size than Toughbook CF-29 with its 13.3" large screen.
In both notebooks we've found 0.5GB of RAM.
Video card in use in Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 is Intel 915GMS and in Toshiba Satellite M60-182 is ATI X700.
Toshiba Satellite M60-182 seems to be better for gamers with 128MB of dedicated video memory.
Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 had more storage for multimedia files (like mp3, avi) on hard drive.
Disadvantage of Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 is lack of bluetooth device which you need for some mobile phones and cameras.
No infrared.
There are no firewire built-in on Panasonic Toughbook CF-29.
Toshiba Satellite M60-182 doesn't have PCMCIA.
Small advantage of Toshiba Satellite M60-182 is built-in cardreader which reads 5 card types.
Floppy drive is embedded in Panasonic Toughbook CF-29, but we see this as disadvantage since floppy disks are unreliable and obsolete.
It is bad that these laptops cannot be connected to some new TFT monitors since they don't have DVI.
The lack of webcamera in both models makes them bad in video conferencing.
Operating system on Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 is XP Pro and on Toshiba Satellite M60-182 is XP Home.
